NEW ORLEANS – The City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works (DPW), proposes to use federal Disaster-Community Development Block Grant funds to make streetscape improvements along the OC Haley Blvd. corridor from Calliope St. to St. Andrews St. in New Orleans.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and its implementing regulations, 36 CFR Part 800 (Section 106), the City of New Orleans hereby provides notice of the initiation of NEPA and Section 106  compliance activities for future actions associated with the OC Haley Streetscape Project design and construction activities.

On April 30, 2013, the DPW will hold a public information meeting to discuss proposed design and construction activities under evaluation for the OC Haley Blvd. corridor.
