The City of New Orleans

Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program

The New Orleans Health Department is the Ryan White Part A Grantee for the region including New Orleans. The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funds Community Based Organizations (CBOs) to provide comprehensive HIV treatment and support services to eligible residents of the following eight parishes: Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John and St. Tammany.

One of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program's primary functions is to identify qualified health care facilities and non-profit agencies to provide services that will decrease the rate of growth of HIV/AIDS within our community and increase the health and well-being of persons living with HIV/AIDS.

It's the 2nd Annual NOLA HIV/AIDS Awareness Week.  Join us for a week of free HIV testing, educational events, and more in locations across the city.  Click here for a printable version of the schedule.
