NEW ORLEANS, LA-- Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu joined with the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) to encourage organizations in the New Orleans community to partner with NORDC in the implementation, maintenance and operations of their fall programs.
NORDC Programmatic Partners are organizations that provide creative and innovative programming at NORDC recreation centers and designated facilities at no cost. Examples of Programmatic Partnerships include after school programs, summer camps, youth athletic programs, creative arts programs, and senior health and wellness programs.
Partnership applications may be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or hand delivered/ mailed to 800 Race Street by 5:00pm on Friday, August 17, 2012. Mailed applications must be post marked by the deadline.
NORDC is also hosting a Technical Assistance (TA) workshop on Monday, August 13, 2012 at their main office, 800 Race Street from 10:30 to 11:30 am. The TA workshop is being held in order to provide information to community organizations and partners on what type of partnerships are desired and instructions on how to go about becoming a partner.
