Firefighters Respond to Two Alarm Fire at Hidden Lake Apartment Complex

On Monday, December 26, 2015 at 9:37 pm, the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) responded to 7001 Martin Drive, the Hidden Lake Apartment Complex.  Firefighters arrived at 9:43 pm to find fire coming from a second floor apartment in building “C”.

Early Morning Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Bakery

Tuesday morning at 3:46 a.m. the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) received a 9-1-1 call reporting a fire in a commercial structure at the corner of Elysian Fields Ave and Robert E. Lee Blvd. NOFD firefighters arrived on the scene of the Buttermilk Drop Bakery, located at 6220 Elysian Fields Ave, at 3:53 a.m.  Upon arrival flames were already through the roof with most of the bakery’s interior already fully involved, a second-alarm was struck shortly after at 4:05 a.m.
