NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD, with the assistance of the FBI, has arrested 38-year-old El-Hanini Mohammed after he robbed the First Bank and Trust located at 4550 General DeGaulle Drive this afternoon.

Suspect Sought In Mid-City Aggravated Assault

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Diamante Hunter, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Sunday, July 19, 2015, in the 600 block of South Pierce Street.

NOPD Arrests Suspects On Gun And Drug Charges

NEW ORLEANS - Yesterday, members of the NOPD Sixth District General Assignment Unit arrested 28-year-old Ashley West and 33-year-old Jonathan Toote, after detectives served a search warrant on their home located at 2439 Third Street.

NOPD Arrests Suspect For Narcotics And Firearms Violations

NEW ORLEANS-- Acting on citizen information, the NOPD Major Case Narcotics Unit arrested 55-year-old Freddie Ivory and confiscated over 15 pounds of various grades of Marijuana with an approximate street valve of over 50,000.00, a high powered rifle and approximately $6,000.00 in cash.  The incident took place July 31, 2015, inside of a house located at 2613 Pauger Street.

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD has arrested 26-year-old Adam Hassan in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Wednesday, July 29,2015, in the 900 block of John Churchill Chase Street.

NOPD Investigating Eastern New Orleans Homicide

NEW ORLEANS—The NOPD is investigating an unclassified death that left a 53-year-old man dead. The victim was discovered this morning just after 6:00 a.m., in the 7800 block of Venice Boulevard.

Body Found In Mississippi River Identified As Dave Hebron

NEW ORLEANS— The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has positively identified the body found in the Mississippi River Wednesday night as 42-year-old Dave Hebron.  Coroner’s investigators performed the autopsy and confirmed Hebron’s identity.  Investigators told detectives Hebron’s death has been ruled a drowning.

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is asking the public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Bryant Slaughter who is wanted for Attempted Murder.  The incident took place July 30, 2015, in the 8900 block of Forshey Street.

NEW ORLEANS—The NOPD is investigating a report of a missing person who was last seen swimming in the Mississippi River near St. Peter and Decatur Streets Tuesday evening.
