Suspect Arrested For Aggravated Assault And Bank Robbery Warrant In Central City

Larry W. Williams, 1-15-81, was arrested for Aggravated Assault and an outstanding Warrant for Bank Robbery.  The Aggravated Assault took place November 2, 2013 at approximately 9:55pm, in the 3000 block of First Street.    

The victim notified 911 that Larry Williams had just pulled a gun on her and threatening to kill her. Within 3 minutes of calling 911, Sixth District Task Force officers Randolph Daniel and Norbert Henry arrived on scene.  

After learning the facts of the incident and the identity of the perpetrator, the officers further learned that an arrest warrant was just issued for Larry Williams for a Bank Robbery that occurred in Orleans Parish. 

On Sunday, November 3, 2013, Sixth District Task Force Officers executed an arrest warrant and search warrant on Larry Williams' residence. 

Larry Williams was not home to be apprehended during the execution of the search warrant and arrest warrant., however, through the hard working efforts and diligence of the officers Williams was apprehended shortly after midnight on Monday, November 04, 2013 by Sixth District Officer Chris Lasley without incident. 

Williams was arrested for Aggravated Assault, a Warrant for Bank Robbery and a Parole Violation.  

Williams was previously arrested for Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, Several Resisting Police Officers, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile, Second Degree Battery, Theft, Several Trespassing, Several Disturbing the Peace, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, Several Battery and Warrants.
