NEW ORLEANS, LA— New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) Superintendent Ronal W. Serpas, Ph. D., announced today that he will be retiring after more than 30 years of public service. Serpas was hired as NOPD Superintendent in May 2010.

Anonymous Tip Leads To Arrest Of School Teacher And Roommate In Possession Of Illegal Narcotics

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Members of the Criminal Intelligence Center, consisting of the NOPD Intelligence Unit, the NOPD Major Case Narcotics Unit, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Louisiana Probation and Parole, arrested 20-year-old William West and 20-year-old Scott Hirsch for multiple counts of Possession of a Dangerous Substance on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.

New Orleans Police Arrest Four Felons In Possession Of Heroin And Guns

NEW ORLEANS, LA—On Tuesday night, the NOPD Fifth District General Assignment Units arrested 34-year-old Rodney Womack, 31-year-old Corey Celestine, 30-year-old Michael McGinnis, and 28-year-old Eddie Celestine for Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
