NOPD Officer Placed on Emergency Suspension without Pay

A New Orleans Police officer turned himself in to Public Integrity Bureau (PIB) detectives this morning after allegedly refusing to wait for a Louisiana Department of Public Safety Police (DPS) officer to issue him traffic citations, and instead, grabbed back his driver’s documentation from the officer and fled the scene in his personal vehicle.
