Senior Team go to Houston for the Southwest Regionals July 24-27, Junior Team Wins USSSA Championship on May 31.

The Senior NORDC/RBI Travel Team will go to the RBI Southwest Regionals July 24-27 in Houston. The participating youth will also get to see the Houston Astros play the Miami Marlins on Friday night, courtesy of MLB.

The Junior NORDC/RBI team's win at the USSSA Baseball tournament in Chalmette, LA, advanced them to the Major League Baseball's inaugural Jr. RBI Classic showcases in Houston where they not only won the championship, they got a “major league” experience. They attended two Astros games, including a Civil Rights Game where they absorbed impactful history. Texas Southern housed the teams for the weekend, with talks from professors and coaches included in the stay. The showcase not only allowed the participants to interact with other kids from other cities, it allowed them to branch out of their environment and see new things.  Details here
