Porch Concerts

Front Porch Concert Permits are Special Event permits that allow residents to present live entertainment at their homes if certain conditions are met. These permits help to ensure the health and safety of participants in these events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Restrictions

  • Porch events must be held at private residences. The City may request proof from the applicant.
  • Events must not violate the City's noise ordinance.
  • No one may modify the existing electrical system on the premises.
  • No stages, platforms, or other structural constructions are permitted.
  • No tents are permitted.
  • Sale of alcohol is not permitted.
  • No entry fees may be charged.
  • Events cannot include more than 25 participants and/or attendees.
  • Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all participants and/or attendees follow the City's COVID-19 guidelines (such as social distancing and masking).
  • Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all audience members remain seated and wear masks, unless actively eating or drinking.
  • Audience members are not permitted to dance.
  • Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all performers wear facemasks.
  • Spit valves of musical instruments are prohibited from being emptied onto the floor (use a PuppyPad or similar device).

Fees

There is no fee for a Front Porch Concert Permit.
