What is the Special Needs Registry?
The Special Needs Registry is for residents who might need extra help during an emergency, such as a hurricane, evacuation, or power outage.
Who should sign-up?
Any person, over the age of 65, who has a chronic condition, disability, special healthcare need, or trouble walking.
Typically people will register if they:
Use life support systems such as oxygen, respirator, ventilator, dialysis, pacemaker, or are insulin dependent
Have trouble walking, moving around or have a prosthesis
Are blind, deaf, hard of hearing or have trouble seeing
Have speech, developmental or mental health disabilities
Use service animals
Can someone complete the form for me?
If you cannot complete the sign-up form, a family member, caregiver or friend can sign you up by calling 311 or completing the form below.

Seniors & People with Medical Needs
If you take medication or use a medical treatment regularly you should have at least a weeks’ worth supply ready for any emergency. View more information on emergency preparation for seniors and those with medical needs here.
