The City of New Orleans

Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu

Community Outreach

Orleans Registrar of Voters Office is proudly committed to participating in community events the city.  One major goal is to raise awareness on the importance of the election process and be a direct resource for citizens who are interested in voter registration.

At these events that help connect citizens to the vote, we provide assistance with voter registration and distrubute information on upcoming elections.  We answer questions citizens may have related to the vote.

The Registrar's Office encourages Orleans communities and organizations to invite our office to attend a event where we can serve as a resource for citizens.  A request for our participation must be submitted two weeks prior to the event.  Please note that during our heavy election cycle, we may have to rescehdule or provide assistance as needed.

Voter Education Week

Every year, our office participates in Voter Education Week.  During this week, we divide our team members up to travel throughout the parish for voter registration initiatives.  Each team is equipped with a offical voter machine and provides demonstrations for those who are interested.  Schedule for Voter Education will be out soon!
