Neighborhood Stabilization Program Substantial Amendment Proposed

New Orleans, LA - Feb 26, 2013. In accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan, the Office of Community Development (OCD) is making a substantial amendment to the 2008 Action Plan.  Specifically, OCD has identified the properties which will be included in the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). 

The Office of Community Development received $2,302,208 in NSP1 funds of which $576,000 will be devoted to the redevelopment of vacant and abandoned properties; $1,495,988 for the demolition of properties which are in imminent danger of collapse and serve as a threat to public health and safety; and $230,220 for Administration and Planning.
