The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for the East bank of Orleans Parish. Bacteriological tests confirmed that water in the area is safe to drink and can be used for personal needs.

The City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works (DPW), hosted a public meeting to discuss the OC Haley Blvd. Streetscape project on April 30, 2013. At the public meeting, the DPW presented a proposed scope of work to improve OC Haley Blvd. from Calliope St. to St. Andrews St. in New Orleans. A copy of the proposed scope as described at the OC Haley Blvd. Streetscape NEPA Section 106 public meeting is available here.
