Notice of Funding Availability Update for New Orleans Area Homeowners Assistance Program
The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Homeowners Mortgage Assistance program has been rescinded. Unfortunately, the responses we received did not meet the necessary standards to proceed with federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) at this time.
The City of New Orleans understands the significance of this program and remains committed to supporting homeowners in need. When additional information becomes available, and an alternative funding opportunity that does not rely on ARPA funds is identified, we will promptly share updates with the public.
Thank you for your understanding and continued interest in this important initiative.
