The City of New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (NOHSEP) is urging residents to prepare for extremely cold weather, expected to begin overnight Sunday, Jan. 19, and continue through Wednesday, Jan. 22. Hard freeze conditions are possible, along with Cold Weather Advisories or Extreme Cold Warnings.

As mandated in Policy Memorandum No.141(R) and as set forth in M.C Ordinance No. 27795, the City of New Orleans is committed to providing a workplace that is free of sexual harassment.
As a further step, the City of New Orleans is pleased to offer and provide access to the following Louisiana State Civil Service REQUIRED online training courses:
Note that all department heads, managers and supervisors are required to complete both trainings.
