March 8, 2022 City Planning Commission Public Hearing

The City Planning Commission does hereby certify that it is unable to hold a commission meeting under regular quorum requirements due to COVID-19. Under the authority granted in Act 302 of the 2020 Regular Legislative Session, the City Planning Commission certifies that it will convene a meeting on March 8, 2022 at 1:30 pm via teleconference/Zoom to hear matters that are critical to the continuation of the business of the Commission and that are not able to be postponed to a meeting due to a legal requirement or deadline in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance that cannot be changed. All efforts will be made to provide for observation and input by members of the public.

The meeting may be accessed using the following methods:
Live Streams of Meeting: There will be two livestreams of the meeting.  Granicus is the typical method for streaming BZA and CPC hearings.  Recently, there have been issues with the live feed on Granicus, so the meeting will also be streamed on Youtube at the link below.

Rules. Only written public comment will be allowed. Live public comment will not be allowed. No member of the public may submit more than one written comment per agenda item.

  1. Time allowed for public comment. The public comment form will be made available at the start of the meeting and will close at the end of the 30 minute recess.
  2. Form. Public comments must be submitted electronically on the form provided by the City Planning Commission. Any comment missing this information will not be read aloud. 
  3. Reading of Public Comments. A moderator will read into the record all comments pertaining to that item that have been submitted in accordance with these rules. Comments will be read aloud in a normal speaking voice. The moderator will discontinue reading a comment once it exceeds two (2) minutes.
