SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS DEFERRED TO THE OCTOBER 12, 2021 CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING
The City of New Orleans City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 12, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. The public hearing will consider the update of the City’s Subdivision Regulations.
Under the authority granted in Act 302 of the 2020 Regular Legislative Session, the City Planning Commission certifies that it will convene a meeting on October 12, 2021 at 1:30 pm via teleconference/Zoom to hear matters that are critical to the continuation of the business of the Commission and that are not able to be postponed to a meeting due to a legal requirement or deadline that cannot be changed. All efforts will be made to provide for observation and input by members of the public.
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS UPDATE – The City Planning Commission will re-consider an update to the City’s Subdivision Regulations. The regulations address the division and consolidation of lots and squares throughout the City.

The City Planning Commission will hear comments from proponents, opponents, and others interested in the Subdivision Regulations update. All interested parties are encouraged to view the meeting and all relevant comments concerning the proposed changes are encouraged.
The CPC has established public hearing rules within its Administrative Rules, Policies, & Procedures, which are available on the CPC website (www.nola.gov/cpc). You may also submit written comments to the Executive Director in advance by mail (1300 Perdido Street, 7th floor, New Orleans LA 70112) or email (CPCinfo@nola.gov).
The deadline for submitting written public comments is Monday, October 4 at 5:00 pm. Comments received by that time will be published alongside the draft regulations.
Additionally, written public comment may be submitted during the October 12 public hearing via www.nola.gov/cpc. Those comments will be read into the record during the public hearing.
