During the July 28th CPC public hearing, the Council Chamber experienced an internet outage that abruptly ended the meeting's live broadcast. The Commission had not acted on the final item on its agenda, Street Name Change 001/20. This item has been deferred to the August 11th CPC public hearing and will be reheard at that time.

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the protection of life and property, the City of New Orleans and all of its administrative operations will remain closed on Monday, June 8, 2020, due to severe weather expected across the New Orleans area.
Due to this closure, the Board of Zoning Adjustments meeting will not be held tomorrow. We're working with board members to find an alternate date to reschedule the meeting. If not, all items will be deferred to the July 13th BZA meeting. We will keep you posted as we know more information.
