The draft 2019 Short Term Rental Study has been released and will be presented at the City Planning Commission's June 25, 2019 meeting. The meeting will begin at 1:30pm in the City Council Chamber in City Hall.

The City Planning Commission has moved the Short Term Rental Study public hearing and has extended the deadline for written comments. The City Planning Commission will release the study on June 11, 2019 and consider recommendations of the study at its June 25, 2019 meeting.

The draft Billboard Study has been released and will be presented at the City Planning Commission's April 23, 2019 meeting. The meeting will begin at 1:30pm in the City Council Chamber in City Hall.

In November 2018, the City retained HR & A Advisors, Inc (HR&A), in consultation with Urban Focus, to conduct a study determining the feasibility of a mandatory IZ policy, the findings of which will be used to inform the proposed legislation and modify components of it (if needed) to ensure alignment with current real estate market conditions. HR&A completed their analysis in February 2019 and provided their final report and recommendations to the City on March 1, 2019

On January 10, 2019, the City Council passed Motion M-19-6 for the City Planning Commission to conduct a public hearing and study on possibility of special programs or conditions that would allow for the issuance of two or more Residential Short Term Rental licenses to a single license holder to incentivize economic development in certain areas of the city, without imposing secondary effects relative to its residential fabric. The draft Small Box Retail Diversity Study has been released and will be presented at the City Planning Commission's December 11, 2108 meeting. The meeting will begin at 1:30pm in the City Council Chamber in City Hall.
