The City Planning Commission staff will be holding a listening session to receive public input on the changes to Articles 1 through 4 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance that are proposed by City Council Motion No. M-25-380.

The September 9 CPC public hearing will start at 3:00 pm in the 8th floor conference room in City Hall, 1300 Perdido Street.

The Preservation Resource Center (PRC) is hosting an "Ask the Expert" session with City Planning Commission's Stephen Kroll on Friday, August 22, between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. This is an in-person 20 minute one-on-one meeting. It is the perfect opportunity to find out how to work with CPC and to talk through any proposed applications.
The event is on-site at the PRC and is free and open to anyone.

For decision appeal applicants wishing to provide supplemental materials pertinent to their argument (beyond the minimum application requirements), all such materials must be provided at the time of application submittal. The submittal of additional information after the application filing deadline will result in automatic deferral of the appeal. The City Planning Commission office will be closed on Friday, May 30, 2025, for a staff retreat.
Desk duty will also be cancelled, and no planner-on-duty will be available for consult in-person or by email/phone.
The office, including desk duty, will resume regular operations on Monday, June 2, 2025.

The meeting wil be held in the City Council chamber on the first floor of City Hall, 1300 Perdido Street.
