The Canal Street Study has been released and will be presented at the City Planning Commission's October 23, 2108 meeting.  The meeting will begin at 1:30pm in the City Council Chamber in City Hall.

On August 27th, the City Council granted the City Planning Commission an extension for the Canal Street study.  The City Planning Commission will consider recommendations of the study at its October 23, 2018 meeting.

On August 20, 2018, the City Council granted the City Planning Commission an extension for the Short Term Rental Study.  The City Planning Commission will consider recommendations of the Study at its September 25, 2018 meeting.

Short Term Rental Interim Zoning District

The City Council has established a temporary prohibition of the issuance of permits and licenses relative to Temporary and Commercial Short Term Rentals for new and renewal permits. Any aggrieved party may appeal to the City Council for a waiver of the provisions by submitting an appeal to the City Planning Commission.

City Planning Commission staff reports for Tuesday, May 22 meeting are scheduled to be released today, May 15. However, we are experiencing IT network problems that are preventing final versions of the reports from being published. The reports will be published as soon as the IT network is restored. This may be on Tuesday May 15 or Wednesday, May 16.
