Prepare for an Administrative Hearing

Administrative hearings hold property owners accountable for Minimum Property Maintenance code violations. It is a proactive measure to remediate blight.

To prepare for a hearing, collect documentation showing ownership, permitting information, and other compliance actions.

During a hearing, documents are submitted into evidence.

To ensure hearing processes run smoothly, you may send any photos, documents, or forms ahead of time by emailing files to DCEAdjudication@nola.gov with HEARING and the address in the subject line. There is a 25 MB limit for receiving files by email.

  • Photos showing the front, back, and sides of property where abatement has occurred
