  • I understand that submitting false information at anytime during the application process will cause my application to be disqualified and could lead to investigation.
  • I am a tenant and I have applied for Emergency Rental Assistance through the City of New Orleans Office of Community Development (OCD).
  • I have submitted to OCD documentation evidencing hardship, proof of identification and current income with my rental assistance application which will be verified prior to issuance of payment.
  • I understand any utility payments will be made directly to the utility provider.
  • I understand that priority will be given to the lowest income earning households, households at risk for homelessness and individuals that previously applied for funding through the State’s Louisiana Emergency Rental Assistance Program (LERAP).
  • I understand that submitting this application does not entitle me to assistance and that assistance will be provided only while funds remain available.

I consent to third-party verification of income and utility arears. I further consent to City employees communicating to the utility provider in furtherance of bringing my utility account current.
