On Monday, November 25th, the Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) held the fourth annual Neighborhood Cares Holiday Turkey Giveaway at the Central City Senior Center, a community initiative to help Orleans Parish families prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday.
NEO was proud to partner with Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Second Harvest, District B Councilmember Lesli Harris, UnitedHealthcare, Peoples Health and Lamar Advertising to give away turkeys and fixings to over 1,000 families! Special thanks to NOPD and our volunteers.
