Love Your City: Citywide Cleanup
On Saturday, February 1st and Sunday, February 2nd, the Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office along with the Department of Public Works held a two-day Love Your City: Citywide Cleanup event. The cleanup focused on the main corridors in all five council districts (Hollygrove, Central City, Treme, Algiers, 7th Ward and Rosedale). Over 200 volunteers gathered across all 5 council districts to participate in the Love Your City: Citywide cleanup. Together, volunteers gathered over 215 bags of trash, 66 bulk items, and cleaned nearly 40 cach basins throughout the city!
