We had a great turn out for the first roundtable of the year, which featured presentations from Police Superintendent Michael Harrison and Fire Superintendent Timothy McConnell at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center.
Jeff Hebert, Chief Resilience Officer and Executive Director of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority spoke about the City's efforts to develop a resilience strategy. Emphasis was placed on how important meaningful partnerships with neighborhood organizations will be moving forward.
Resilient NOLA Presentation 10th Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina Presentation
Charlotte Parent, Director of the New Orleans Health Department, presented information about the community health improvement plan, building healthier communities, and how neighborhood leaders can get involved.
