Women's Justice Pathways Mapping Session
Join us for the Women's Justice Pathways Mapping Session on Saturday, September 27th!
Join us for a powerful convening of community leaders and public safety officials to develop solutions to the rising rates of incarceration among women and survivors in our jails and prisons, and to disrupt the harmful toll it has taken on our communities.
In collaboration with the MacArthur Foundation Safety & Justice Challenge, Operation Restoration and the City of New Orleans are excited to announce that we are engaging the Women’s Justice Institute (WJI) to host a Women’s Justice Pathways Mapping Session©. This session is specifically designed to facilitate collaborative solutions centered on lived expertise and experience, as well as the contributions of our community partners across sectors.
Please plan on joining us, as well as women leaders from Voice of the Experienced (VOTE) and Women With A Vision, for this dynamic event as we work together to share ideas and identify opportunities to improve well-being and outcomes among women, children, families, and communities before, during, and after incarceration.
The Mapping Session will take place from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday, September 27th at University Medical Center. See the full program here!
