EMD Cares

At the City of New Orleans Equipment Maintenance Division (EMD), service goes beyond maintaining the City's fleet and equipment. Through EMD Cares, we support our employees and give back to the community through volunteerism, charitable initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations.

Our efforts include supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, organizing holiday toy drives, participating in community outreach events, and providing encouragement to employees and families during times of bereavement or health challenges.
