Dr. Patrice Sentino brings a unique and impactful combination of skills and experience to the region, spanning educational psychology, social work, leadership, politics, and Title IX compliance. With over two decades of experience, she excels in creating and implementing transformative educational programs while addressing complex social issues. Her research in technology integration, collective trauma, and community health is deeply rooted in advancing equity and access for underserved populations.
As the Title IX Coordinator at Southern University at New Orleans, Dr. Sentino ensured the university’s compliance with federal regulations to prevent discrimination and create safe, inclusive environments for all students. This critical role highlights her dedication to fostering equity and justice within education.
Dr. Sentino is also deeply engaged in the political landscape, serving on the Orleans Parish Democratic Executive Committee. Her political advocacy focuses on advancing educational equity and community well-being.
