The New Orleans Mosquito, Termite & Rodent Control Board administers and evaluates pest control activities. The board aims to decrease the incidence of disease transmission, economic loss and medical emergencies caused by pests by managing pest populations through a series of integrated approaches including surveillance, source reduction, biological control, sanitation, community education and adult/larval abatement operations.
Ten members.
Six years; Ex-officio members serve terms concurrent with time in respective office.
