This program is administered by Finance New Orleans.
Homebuyers and homeowners purchasing or refinancing an owner-occupied home in New Orleans.
The FORTIFIED Legacy Home Renovation Loan Program combines mortgage and renovation financing into one affordable loan. Eligible homebuyers purchasing a home through the Legacy Home Renovation Loan Program may receive a forgivable second mortgage to finance a FORTIFIED roof upgrade. Additionally, FNO will provide up to 5% in down payment assistance to Legacy Home Renovation.
The program is designed to help New Orleans residents invest in safer, more durable homes while reducing future storm and insurance risks.
