CITY OF NEW ORLEANS ISSUES OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON FEMA PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE EXTENSION

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans issued the following statement:

The City of New Orleans is in regular communication with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regarding the Period of Performance extension of the City's Joint Infrastructure Recovery Request (JIRR) program. 

The City is committed to working collaboratively with FEMA to achieve a positive outcome that supports New Orleans residents and allows for the continued advancement of critical infrastructure improvement projects across the city.
