Traffic Advisory: I-10 Eastbound Left Lane Closure for Maintenance

The City of New Orleans today announced that on Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Department of Public Works (DPW), in close coordination with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD), will close the left lane of eastbound I-10 between Lake Barrington and I-510. This closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Throughout the closure period, appropriate signage and traffic control personnel will be deployed to safely guide motorists through the affected area.

 

This closure is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work and is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance roadway safety and infrastructure.
