TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on Westbound I-10 for Streetlight Repairs

Westbound I-10 updated

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans today announced that starting Wednesday, April 3 at approximately 9 a.m., the Department of Public Works (DPW), in close coordination with the Louisiana Department of Transportation (LaDOTD), will close the westbound left lane along the stretch of Interstate 10 between the Broad Street Overpass and Norman C. Francis Parkway Overpass (see map).

This closure is necessary to facilitate repairs by DPW contractor All Star Electric.

Public safety is top priority. Throughout the closure period, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., appropriate signage will be deployed to safely guide motorists through the affected area.

This closure marks another step in the ongoing collaborative effort between the DPW and LaDOTD to systematically address streetlight repairs. By working together, both the City and State are dedicated to the successful implementation of these crucial improvements.
