NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans Department of Sanitation reminds residents and businesses at eligible properties serviced by the City of the solid waste and recyclable materials collection schedule for Tuesday, March 4 (Mardi Gras Day).
In observance of the holiday, there will be no curbside trash or recycling collection on Tuesday, March 4, for eligible properties outside of the French Quarter and Downtown Development District (DDD). Residents and businesses are advised to plan accordingly. Regularly scheduled curbside trash and recycling collection services will resume on the following service day.
Mardi Gras Day Holiday Collection Schedule:
Trash and recycling collection will run a day behind schedule for the remainder of the week.
Daily curbside trash and recycling collection will not be affected at eligible properties serviced by the City of New Orleans within the French Quarter and Downtown Development District during the Mardi Gras Day holiday. The City of New Orleans thanks residents and businesses for their cooperation and wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
