NEW ORLEANS —Due to inclement weather conditions, New Orleans City Hall and offices will open at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 26. The later start time is to protect the safety of the public and city personnel. This additional time will allow for tending to cold-weather plans and for greater warmth.
All employees should report to work at 12:00 pm for their regularly scheduled hours.
Employees who have been working emergency or essential assignments should check with their supervisors to confirm their reporting instructions. Any department heads with questions should contact the CAO.
We will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide additional guidance if necessary. Employees are encouraged to stay weather aware and may text “NOLAREADY” to 77295 to receive emergency updates.
