NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans today announced that the in-person 2025 Budget Town Hall Meeting scheduled to take place on Monday, July 22 has been rescheduled.
Yesterday, the City was notified of the loss of a tremendous community leader and trailblazer, Chief Executive Officer of Bright Moments Company William "Bill" Rouselle, Jr.
Bright Moments has been a vital component of the City's community engagement initiatives throughout the Cantrell Administration. It was determined that the City will not move forward with tomorrow's meeting and will work to reschedule as soon as possible. This is due to the integral role that Bright Moments plays in the administration's goal to host a successful budget engagement process.
The City will announce the new date and additional details in the near future.
