The City of New Orleans today announced that on Thursday, March 13 the Department of Public Works (DPW), in close coordination with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD), will close the left lane of eastbound I-10 between Wright Road and Lake Carmel to perform interstate lighting repairs. This closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Throughout the closure period, appropriate signage and traffic control personnel will be deployed to safely guide motorists through the affected area.
This closure is necessary to restore power, upgrade service, and support the City’s ongoing efforts to improve roadway safety and infrastructure.
