NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans announced today that the Healthy Homes registration deadline for all one-to-three-unit rental properties has been extended to June 15.
All property owners operating rental housing units in New Orleans must apply for and obtain a Healthy Homes Certificate of Compliance. Registration is required under the Healthy Homes Ordinance. A Certificate of Compliance is necessary to lawfully rent housing units in Orleans Parish.
Residential rental property owners must register online by completing the digital application via the OneStopApp. For those unable to access OneStop, in-person registration is available at 1340 Poydras St., Suite 800, during normal business hours.
