The 67th Annual Meeting of the Louisiana Mosquito Control Association (LMCA) will be held in New Orleans from Dec. 10 through 12. This meeting brings together operational administrators, staff members, educators, students, state employees, and industry representatives from across the state to discuss best practices for mosquito abatement and preventing the diseases they transmit based on sound scientific principles. Each year, in conjunction with the professional meeting, a day is designated to invite local schools to educate students about mosquitoes and the activities of local mosquito abatement districts.
