All issued NSTR Licenses are set to expire on June 30, 2026. You will have the option to renew your license in your One Stop App account beginning April 19, 2026. Permitholders who remain in good standing with the Department of Safety and Permits will be eligible to apply for renewal of the NSTR License.

NEW ORLEANS The City of New Orleans Department of Parks and Parkways is now accepting applications for its 2026 Tree Planting Grants program, providing a total of $146,500 in funding to support nonprofit-led tree planting efforts across Orleans Parish.
Administered by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, the grant program supports the City’s ambitious goal of restoring and expanding the urban forest by planting 40,000 new trees by 2030. Funding will be awarded to eligible nonprofit organizations to plant trees on public property throughout New Orleans.

The NOPD will be partnering with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Louisiana Highway Safety Commission for the “Buckle-Up in Your Truck” campaign, which will span from April 18-25, 2026.
