Palmisano, LLC, crews continue roadway and excavation on the Read East Boulevard Group C project. Crews expect to begin replacing water lines, starting on Sherwood Drive in the coming weeks. Residents will continue to be notified of work that will impact their access and/or cause disruption to their utilities/
Beverly Construction, LLC., crews have begun the water line replacements on Goode Drive this month as part of the Read Boulevard East Group B project. They plan to complete installations on Nottingham Drive and Schindler in the coming weeks. Residents will continue to be notified of work that will impact their access and/or cause disruption to their utilities.
As Command Construction, LLC, crews work to complete the water and sewer line replacements throughout the Little Woods Group A project, they are working weekends make up days lost to inclement weather. As the water and drainage line phase of the work moves toward completion, the contractor is working to fill and secure all open areas prior to beginning patch, mill, and overlay / incidental road repair operations in April.
New drainage lines are being installed in the 1200 block of Feliciana and the 1100 block of Montegut Street as part of the $1.5M St. Claude Drainage Improvement Project. The new larger drain lines will help alleviate flooding in the area.
Palmisano construction crews completed installing new sewer lines in the 7400 block of Canal Boulevard and have begun installing new catch basins and connections to the new drain lines
Construction is scheduled to begin in late March on the Treme-Lafitte Group A infrastructure and road improvement project.
The Gentilly Resilience District (GRD) is a combination of resilience programs and projects funded by the National Disaster Resilience grant - in the targeted area of Gentilly. These projects are being designed to reduce flood risk, slow land subsidence, improve energy reliability and spur neighborhood revitalization.
At more than 40 percent complete, Fleming Construction crews are working on Press Drive and Dreux Avenue in Pontchartrain Park as part of the Pontilly Neighborhood Stormwater Network project.
The $4.4M Filmore South Group A project was designed by Volkert, Inc. and is being constructed by Hard Rock Construction, LLC. The project is currently at over 50% complete and construction continues to progress ahead of schedule.
