Safety and Permits Works to Reduce Number of City Hall Visitors Due to COVID-19

 In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the One Stop Shop is taking steps to reduce the number of in-person visitors to City Hall. Beginning Thursday, One Stop Shop (OSS) will suspend in-person visits from the public.

Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closures on General DeGaulle Drive

On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, weather permitting, City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works contractor Hard Rock Construction Co., LLC will close lanes on the General DeGaulle Bridge to accommodate repair crews.

MAYOR CANTRELL ANNOUNCES ADJUSTMENTS IN REVENUE COLLECTIONS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK

Mayor LaToya Cantrell today announced that, response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the City of New Orleans is waiving fines, fees, interest and penalties on sales tax payments due to the City for 60 days. In addition, the City will extend the renewal period for ABOs up to 30 days without penalty.
