Today (Monday, May 5, 2025) is the last day of the Early Giving Period by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. GiveNOLA Day is Tuesday, May 6, 2025. We encourage everyone to share with their family and friends to donate to Friends of the New Orleans Fire Department as it’s the primary source of funding for all community outreach programs conducted by the NOFD and has been used to supplement the needs of firefighters through the purchase of safety equipment.

Telemachus St. and Palmyra St. NOFD firefighters arrived on the scene of 3705 Palmyra St/ 235 S. Telecachus St., a large two-story, multi-unit unoccupied dwelling, at 9:42 a.m.
