New Orleans, LA - October 20, 2009 - Today the New Orleans City Council passed Motions establishing the Office of Inspector General Third-Party Advisory Committee, and re-issuing the Request for Qualifications for utility consultants.

Additionally, the Council addressed presentations and passed Resolutions on the implementation of Option 2a for New Orleans outfall canals, and the naming the New Orleans Trauma Center as "The Spirit of Charity Trauma Center".
