On Friday, December 27, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) was dispatched to a call of a reported fire at a building in the 2100 block of Royal St.

The New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) is on the scene investigating the partial collapse of a three-story commercial building at the corner of Lafayette Street and O’Keefe St.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:08 a.m., the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) responded to a call reporting a fire at the corner of Earhart Blvd. and Fern St. The first NOFD unit arrived on the scene at 2:12 a.m., finding a single-story commercial building (7901 Earhart Blvd) already heavily involved in fire.
