Tuesday evening, October 14, 2014, at 9:54 p.m. the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) received a 911 call reporting a residential fire at 49 Cypress Grove Ct. in Algiers. Dispatched at 9:55 p.m., the first NOFD company arrived on the scene at 10:00 p.m. finding flames already through the roof

At 6:18 pm, the New Orleans Fire Department responded to several 911 calls reporting a house on fire at 5231 Patterson Street in Algiers. When firefighters arrived they found a second floor bedroom of a three story wood frame family dwelling on fire. The fire spread onto the porch and the roof line.

Friday, October 03, 2014 at 2:31 a.m. the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) received a 911 call reporting a vehicular fire at the corner of N. Claiborne Ave and Franklin Ave. Engine 27 was dispatched at 2:32 a.m. with a full one-alarm being dispatched shortly after at 2:34 a.m. when a second caller to 911 gave clarification that a tanker was on fire in a gas station parking lot.

Wednesday, July 09, 2014 the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) received calls through the 911 system to 823 Cadiz Street in the uptown area. At 3:22 a.m., companies arrived to a two-story wood frame dwelling which consisted of four apartments heavily involved with fire spread to an adjacent building; which is a combination of an old family sheet metal business with two apartments above.
