Operating through eight district offices across New Orleans, FOB provides frontline police services through specialized units including the Violent Offender Warrant Squad, Bomb Disposal, Marine Operations, and K-9 units. We work closely with Orleans Parish Communications District to ensure rapid emergency response.
ISB leads complex investigations through three specialized divisions: Criminal Investigation, Specialized Investigations, and Crime Lab & Evidence. From homicide investigations to property crimes, our teams work tirelessly to solve cases and prevent future crimes.
The Public Integrity Bureau promotes credibility and public confidence in New Orleans police officers. PIB enforces the highest standards of professional police performance through preventive measures and thorough investigations of both citizen and NOPD-initiated misconduct allegations. We receive complaints in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment and conduct objective, comprehensive reviews of all allegations.
