NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD needs the public’s help in locating a vehicle and identifying a suspect in connection to an auto theft that happened on August 8, 2016.

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is investigating a shooting that occurred today (August 12, 2016) at the intersection of Roger Drive and Wright Road.

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred today (August 11, 2016) in the 2200 block of Peniston Street.
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD needs the public’s help in locating and identifying individuals responsible for a simple burglary of a vehicle in the 2700 block of Danbury Drive.
NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an individual wanted for a residential burglary in the 2400 block of Magazine Street. The incident occurred on August 9, 2016.
NEW ORLEANS--This week, the NOPD graduated 28 members of the 2016 Citizen’s Police Academy. The eight-week program, which began June 22 and concluded on August 10, is an interactive learning experience for New Orleans residents that provides its participants with a closer look at the NOPD and the New Orleans criminal justice system in an informal setting.
